Not the same old PayPal these days. PayPal has really progressed and upgraded the things that you can do inside their app. This is one of the very first payment apps I ever used. Now, I have the old school PayPal credit account, a checking account, a savings account, and really useful cashback Mastercard, not to mention the different ways I can pay overtime with no interest. I recommend this app over all the other cash apps all the time because PayPal still has better security than most!

PayPal as a whole is good, all the new interfaces are absolutely horrible. Everything you need is hidden under extra menus. Everything you need to do is more clicks, more steps, more time. I just needed to reference an invoice number, its not in the list of transactions, its not even the transaction detail, you have to click a 3rd thing and open the invoice just to see what the invoice number was. Making an invoice on the web interface is painfull now. I'm dredding the day they force the new way

In order to use the app, you have to dismiss a credit card offer, debit card offer, cryptocurrency trading account, coupon and offers screen, and receive unsolicited scam invoices that you cannot block. It's no mystery why all your friends tell you to Venmo, Cash App, or risk it with Zelle before mentioning PayPal. Unfortunately, it's probably a matter of time before the cancer spreads to Venmo.
