ClickOnDetroit - WDIV Local 4

Waaayyy too many notices. I must receive 10-20 per day. The worst part is that when I click on the link from the teaser, at least half of the time it will bring me to something entirely different. Not trying to be mean, but if this is "new and improved," I'm very glad I didn't have the previous version. I installed the app 2 days ago and will be uninstalling it as soon as I hit POST on this review.

I really like this app for receiving news, but whenever I tap on a notification, it sends me to a page that says "Push Notification" and "Watch Local 4 News live on Local 4+" with a video that isn't about what the notification was :( Using search doesn't work, either. No matter what I search for, it always tells me there's no match for it.

Have now used for awhile, so can now give true opinion: A great app. Updated w/the latest news, no errors, push alerts (if choose) are timely and accurate especially breaking news. In fact, when it comes to this station and this app, I believe no one handles breaking news better. Superb. One issue, will get alerted to watch in app a breaking alert, but when you do - you still have to watch an ad, even though it is suppose to be "urgent." + ads at bottom appear as news, but are links to ad sites.
